The European Le Mans Series is one of the most prestigious endurance racing championships in Europe, organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). It features LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 prototypes in 4-hour races on the most iconic European circuits.

For over 20 years, the ELMS has established itself as the royal road to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For nearly 15 years, the European Le Mans Series has positioned itself as the ultimate proving ground for teams aiming for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It attracts competitors from all over the world, all driven by the same goal: to perform consistently, string together results throughout the season, and secure a place in motorsport's most prestigious endurance race.

A demanding format on the biggest circuits in Europe

Six four-hour races are organized on the most prestigious circuits in Europe: Barcelona, Le Castellet, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone and Portimão. Each circuit brings its own challenges: Barcelona demands balance and tire management, Le Castellet rewards precision, Imola punishes the slightest mistake, Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most demanding tracks in the world with its changing conditions, Silverstone tests the car and driver in its long, fast corners, and Portimão concludes the season with its elevation changes and unpredictable nature.

Leading international visibility

ELMS races are broadcast in French and English and have amassed over 12 million views. For fans, the ELMS offers an unparalleled experience, with family-friendly ticketing, paddock access, autograph sessions, and gridwalks just before the start. The 2024 season attracted over 100,000 spectators across its six events, with each race meeting drawing between 10,000 and 50,000 spectators on site.

LMP3, the direct stepping stone to Le Mans

In the LMP3 category, I'm following the path that leads directly to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Each team competes not only for the European Championship title, but also to secure an automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The goal for 2027 is clear: to move up to LMP2 and cross the starting line of the world's greatest endurance race.
